Health Education - C.N.A

The Certified Nurse Assistant training program at White County Medical Center prepares CNA candidates for careers in hospitals, nursing homes, and home care.  The hospital began this training program in 2000 to fulfill a community need for more CNA’s. The program consists of 90 hours of classroom and clinical curriculum.  WCMC has a strong CNA program with 95% of our students passing the Arkansas CNA exam.

White County Medical Center has partnered with Arkansas State University-Beebe to offer students the opportunity to enroll at ASU-Beebe and receive seven credit hours of college coursework while completing the CNA program.

White County Medical Center’s training program is approved by the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care.  The class is offered several times a year.  All classes are conducted at White County Medical Center’s South Campus at 1200 South Main in Searcy.  For more information, call (501) 278-3189.
