WCMC has an Imaging Center at Medical Center West, located at 2505 West Beebe-Capps Expressway next to St. Paul United Methodist Church. The Imaging Center offers an open magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner and a CT scanner. 

The facility's open MRI is designed for patients who have experienced claustrophobia and anxiety during MRI exams.  The machine--a Philips Medical Systems scanner--offers the widest patient opening of any MRI.  The system works well with pediatric, elderly, and large patients.  The open MRI provides increased patient comfort without sacrificing the quality of the imaging study.

WCMC's multi-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner features advanced technology that produces split-second high quality images, permitting doctors to see more anatomical detail in a fraction of the time needed for other tests.  With this CT scanner, the WCMC Imaging Center is able to more effectively detect and treat a range of life-threatening illness, including heart disease, cancer, stroke, and lung disease.
